Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Feenix software and related services provided by Abhinav Yadav ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using Feenix, you agree to these Terms.

1. License Grant

• Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Feenix on the number of machines specified by your plan.
• The license is valid for the period specified at the time of purchase (1 year, 2 years, 3 years, or lifetime).
• Each license key can be activated on one machine only. Contact support for machine transfers.

2. Permitted Use

You may:

• Install and use Feenix for managing school fee collection at your educational institution.
• Allow authorized staff (admin and accountant) to access the software via LAN.
• Create backups of your local database for data safety.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license key with others.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
• Modify the software or create derivative works.
• Use the software for any unlawful purpose.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels.
• Use one license key on multiple machines simultaneously (except via LAN access from the licensed machine).

4. Free Trial

• We offer a 7-day free trial with full functionality.
• No payment information is required for the trial.
• After the trial expires, a valid license key is required to continue using the software.
• Data created during the trial is preserved when you purchase a license.

5. Payment & Pricing

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
• Prices are subject to change. Existing licenses are not affected by price changes.
• Feenix is a one-time purchase. There are no recurring subscription fees.

6. Addon Modules

• Premium addons (WhatsApp Notifications, AI Smart Assistant) are available as separate one-time purchases.
• Addons require an active Feenix license (Professional or Enterprise plan).
• Enterprise plan includes all addons at no additional cost.
• Addon activation requires internet connectivity for one-time verification.

7. Updates & Support

• Software updates are provided for the duration of your license validity period.
• Updates are optional and can be downloaded from within the app.
• Email support is provided during the license validity period.
• Priority and on-call support are available for Professional and Enterprise plans respectively.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Feenix is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any data loss, business interruption, or damages arising from the use or inability to use the software.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the license.
• We recommend maintaining regular backups of your database.

10. Termination

• We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, you must stop using the software and delete all copies.
• Your data remains on your local machine and is not affected by license termination.

11. Intellectual Property

Feenix, including its code, design, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Abhinav Yadav. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
